Transition to Betterness provides comfort and compassion to cancer patients and families during the most difficult times of their illness. The mission of the T2B programs such as the comfort food cart, music therapy, comfort blanket, and hospital room refurbishment programs is to provide compassionate and homelike settings in the hospital.

Although we are not able to cure the patients through our programs, we are able to strengthen their emotional, psychological and spiritual state while receiving professional medical attention during their stay at our local hospitals. Currently T2B refurbishing programs have taken place and continue to move forward at Windsor Regional Hospital, Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, and Leamington Memorial District Hospital.

Our vision is to create quality and compassionate hospital settings for cancer patients and families, in all of our regional hospitals. There is much work to be done, and these programs are ongoing projects, with a high demand for continuous refurbishments within old and new hospital rooms.

How to Make a Donation

The T2B online donation system runs through our Pay Pal account which is a secure network for you to make your donation through Visa, MasterCard, or your Pay Pal account. T2B is only able to except Visa, MasterCard, Cheque and Cash donations. T2B does issue tax receipts for all transaction that are $20.00 or more, which can be processed through the Pay Pal system and the T2B office. Your personal information will never be shared, traded, sold or used in any method not clearly approved by you.

T2B "Give Outside the Box" & "T2B You Choose" Program

“Give Outside the Box” program. Make a donation on behalf of a teacher, loved one, boss, co-worker or friend and you can give the gift that can change a community. Be sure to state your donation on behalf of your loved one and give us the address and name of the individual you are making a donation on behalf of and T2B will notify them of your gift.  Donations over $20 will receive a tax receipt which you can place in your friend’s name or yours.  All donations given to the T2B “Give Outside The Box” program will go towards or ongoing programs and will stay 100% local.

The ‘T2B YOU CHOOSE PROGRAM” allows you to choose which programs you would like your donated dollars to go to.
