Transition to Betterness is very proud to announce Cathi as Volunteer of the Month for March!
Cathi is a Concierge Volunteer in the T2B Supportive Care Unit – Stephanie & Barry Zekelman Wing at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare’s Tayfour Campus. While she has been with T2B less than a year she has left such a positive impact on the patients and families in our unit during that period of time. Cathi is very familiar with the unit as she used to work as a nurse on it! Her experience and background has helped push our programs to new levels. She volunteers not just once but twice every week! She never has a problem staying later when there is a need for extra care for the patients and families. She is truly gifted in being able to make patients and their families comfortable and welcome during these difficult times in their lives. Beyond the relief she offers the patients and their families she is also a huge support to the staff and fellow volunteers on the unit.
We cannot thank you enough for your efforts and love of T2B. Your positivity and outgoing personality does not go unnoticed.
Cathi, you should feel so proud, you are a shining star inside and out.
