We are proud to announce that our Volunteer of the Month for April is Jake Corrent!
Jake volunteers for our Concierge Program at Windsor Regional Hospital’s Metropolitan Campus. Even though Jake has only been with our organization since July 2017 he has made a tremendous impact. We always encourage our volunteers to get to know those we interact with as the person they are instead of as just a patient. By doing so we can better meet their needs. Jake is truly invested in getting to know each patient and visitor to the best of his ability. His friendly and positive personality is infectious. He is always ready with kind words, friendly ear, and is truly invested in getting to know the patients for who they are.
Despite working and having many other commitments, he still makes the time for T2B and always tries to help fill in when there is a need. He also has been a phenomenal mentor to new volunteers when shadowing with them.
We are honoured and thankful to have such a compassionate, kind, caring, and upstanding individual choose to be part of our organization. Jake, we hope you are as proud of yourself as we are of you! Thank you for your support and care!
