Transition to Betterness is happy to introduce Laurie Ohler as our September Volunteer of the Month!
Laurie volunteers with our Comfort Cart Program. She brings snacks and beverages around to patients and families at the T2B Supportive Care Unit – Stephanie and Barry Zekelman Wing at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare’s Tayfour Campus. But the real treat is Laurie’s great attitude and the positivity she puts into every moment she is volunteering. Laurie takes great pride and joy in the volunteer work she does in our community. She cares a great deal for the needs of others and puts so much compassion into every interaction she has. Her kindness and caring personality do not go unnoticed! We are truly blessed to have such an amazing individual as part of our organization. She always knows the best way to provide comfort for each patient and she always brings a smile to everyone’s faces.
Laurie puts such an amazing effort into every act and we are truly honoured to call her a Transition to Betterness volunteer. You are truly a shining star Laurie!
