We are extremely excited to announce that Rose Rennie is our volunteer of the month for July!
Rose has a long history with Transition to Betterness. Prior to becoming a volunteer she partnered with T2B as unit manager on the palliative wing, in the T2B Supportive Care Unit. While her position kept her very busy she still found time to donate to our organization as an event volunteer at our biggest fundraising event of the year, the T2B Annual Gala. After retiring she chose to get involved even more with the programs within the hospital! She currently helps with Concierge at our Windsor Regional Hospital’s Metropolitan Campus. There she has made a HUGE impact. Her kindness, calming personality and positive outlook brighten the spirits of the patients and families on the unit immensely. She constantly is championing our organization in the community and always looks for ways we can improve. Even though we monopolize a TON of her time she continues to help at our events including the upcoming Bluesfest this month!
We are extraordinarily lucky to have such an amazing, strong and passionate woman as part of our T2B family. Our hearts are bursting with the generosity she practices not only with us but also the community.
Rose you are a truly remarkable person and we are proud to call you a T2B Volunteer! Thank you for all you do.
