Program Overview

Since 2002, the T2B Comfort Cart has provided complimentary snacks and nourishing refreshments to patients and families in oncology and palliative care. Operated by compassionate volunteers, the program offers comfort and emotional support through simple moments of care, supplementing the hospital menu for both patients and visitors. Available Monday through Friday, the Comfort Cart serves Windsor Regional Hospital’s Metropolitan Campus Oncology Unit as well as Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare in the T2B Palliative Care Unit, The Stephanie and Barry Zekelman Wing.

Through each snack and beverage, the Comfort Cart helps ease the strain of hospital stays, fostering kindness, connection, and comfort during difficult times. The program is supported through title sponsorship by Petretta Construction.
