The T2B Art Cart provides paediatric patients receiving hospital care with mobile access to art supplies, allowing those confined to their beds to still participate in creative expression and emotional relief through art. By bringing bedside art therapy directly to patients, the program supports emotional well-being, self-expression, and comfort throughout treatment.
Supported by Child Life Specialists and an Art Therapist, the cart offers a wide variety of materials, including paint, brushes, paper, glitter, modelling clay, and craft kits—which require regular restocking to ensure children can choose the artistic activities that interest them most. This ongoing access helps paediatric patients engage in meaningful, comforting activities during their hospital stay.
