Ronald McDonald House Windsor

Transition to Betterness was excited to support Canada’s first Ronald McDonald House located within a hospital, right here in Windsor. This unique space accommodates families requiring overnight stays inside the hospital, offering comfort and closeness during a child’s care. Windsor Regional Hospital statistics show that each year, approximately 1,300 children from outside Windsor require overnight paediatric or neo-natal care.

Located on the third floor of the Metropolitan Campus near the paediatric in-patient unit and neonatal intensive care unit, the house provides families with a supportive home-away-from-home. T2B sponsored a single bedroom and the family intake office within the house, partnering with RBC and RE/MAX Preferred Realty Ltd. Brokerage to help make this important project possible.
