Position

Executive Director – Transition to Betterness (T2B)

About Transition to Betterness (T2B)

Transition to Betterness (T2B) is a local non-profit organization in Windsor-Essex County, dedicated to its mission of providing comfort to patients and families impacted by a lifealtering illness. Founded over 25 years ago with the initial aim of refurbishing two oncology rooms, T2B has evolved significantly, now offering more than 20 ongoing programs and many capital campaigns across all local hospitals to help bridge the gap between hospital and home.

T2B is a movement of kindness, comfort, compassion, and community. As a local but powerful organization, we have nurtured a unique family of donors, volunteers, and supporters, each playing an indispensable role in our mission.

Our organization is built on the belief that by uniting our efforts, we can provide comfort and support to those in need from paediatric, oncology, to palliative. Our programs are diverse, but each one aligns with our fundamental mission of providing comfort.

At T2B, we constantly strive to answer a fundamental question: "What would we do for a family member facing a difficult time?" The answer is clear: we would comfort them in every possible way. This question has evolved into our mission, guiding us to perform small acts of kindness that collectively make a significant impact in our community.
