One of the main visions of T2B is creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for the patients and families through our first program, room refurbishments. Within a T2B room you will find warm colours, wood trimmings, specialty flooring, flat screen TV’s, fridges, complimentary TV service and special touches of home. All patient rooms on the Adult Oncology Unit as well as the T2B Paediatric Oncology Satellite Unit have been completely at Windsor Regional Hospital’s Metropolitan Campus. In 2013, T2B was able to reconstruct the “T2B Supportive Care Unit, Stephanie and Barry Zekelman Wing”, in the palliative unit at the Tayfour Campus of Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare. T2B continues to refurbish rooms at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus and Leamington District Memorial Hospital. T2B is focused on providing families with support and comfort during difficult times.
