On Friday, November 1st, 2019 DECK THE DOLLS ‘tis the season to be seen, hosted by Stephanie and Barry Zekelman, raised over HALF A MILLION DOLLARS to support the Dr. Lisa Ventrella-Lucente Greenhouse Project, specifically the Community Kitchen. It was a spectacular evening with our exceptionally generous donors.
We are proud to say that the Greenhouse part of this special project is fully funded by our friends at Mucci Farms and Thermo Energy. This greenhouse and community kitchen project will be the only one of its kind in Canada located at the Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare, where we already run so many of our programs. We will be able to run EVEN MORE programs and great initiatives through this facility; everything from therapeutic gardening classes for mental health & rehab patients, customize workshops, tours for schools, horticultural classes, seasonal farmers market, venue rental, and so much more. A HUGE thank you to our partners at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare.
